There are a few things I would like to do before I get too old and tired

A Plan for Life

To do something that fulfills-me without feeling regrets. To dance barefoot. To take photos. To have a horse and ride him everytime I feel blue. To compare seasonings. To listen to the sea at midnight, and read Cortazar under the full moon.  To sleep a full week. To meet many men and love them all. To have a jazz band and learn the Blue Rondo a la Turk time. To make love. To buy an old London fashion bycicle. To wear a expensive dress at a expensive party. To touch the sand every summer. To drink coffee every winter. Flowers in my garden. To cultivate my own food. To be asked if I’m ok and say yes. To lie a little. To write a title. To climb a mountain and shout out loud my name. To paint my room of black and throw some neon liquid on. To dream of a boy I will never met. To wake up happy everyday.

After you've gone

I feel a little sad. There has been so much changes during 2010. Now I feel like someone had been moving instead of me. It's like if I were there physically but my mind were in other place. I guess it could be an auto-defense mechanism when things aren't going so well.

Another regular feeling I have is that I would love being a knee instead of a person (sometimes it's so hard) and perform just like a knee. If someone asked me: hey girl, what would you be? I would have said: Let's start moving

Leonie Purchas

Someday, in the last two years, Susana Pastor, my first photography college teacher, showed us a photowork of some guy (i can't remember the name) who had shot his family in a particularly way. The photos were most of them dramatically strong. I can remember an old, alcoholic and wrinkled man living with a fat curly haired woman. A hysteric cat jumping out of the frame, and some guy (probably the brother of the photographer) who used to fight with the father and there was blood and chaos everywhere.

The subliminal thing was in the composition (the order in which the photos are shown)The most powerful images were balanced with landscapes images, the close up of a leaf...a sun ray in the lake. I remember images that had focus only in little spots...These were spaces where the eye could rest. Spaces that allowed fresh air came into mind. It allowed you to take a deep breath and then continue seeing without dizzying. Although i haven't found his photos (I promise to found them and post them soon) here are some images of Leonie Purchas who has, also, a deep and dark look of his family.

Someday I will take photos of my family too. Somehow (I don't know yet) I can see my family in this photos too.

Today I wore this

This summer I've planned to use it a lot. I feel confident with baggy dresses, they're are so comfortable. What do you think?

(Este verano pienso ponermelo mucho. Me siento segura utilizando vestidos holgados, son tan comodos. que piensas?)

Black Swan

It's too soon to know the way this film is making me feel...
These lovely adverts were created by the British design studio LaBoca and are influenced by Polish and Czech posters of the 60s and 70s, as well as ballet advertisements on the early 20th century. You can see the black swan shop here.

the way she should

Today was kind of strange. after dreaming with a swimming pool that was in a graveyard and getting up at midday, my mother (who had been upset with us for the last three days) said she wanted to talk with the three of us (me and my two sisters)
After a long conversation full of vent and relieve i'm positive things will go better. Sometimes it is necessary a little of family therapy. And now I have much more responsibility since this semester  i will be paying my college.
I guess growing time has come

So after that I decided to get some relax: Made some pop corn, a mango-passion fruit frozen juice and saw Paris Blues. A lovely movie with Louis Armstrong and Paul Newman. If you like jazz you should see this, here i captured some frames.

The film is full of jazz music, black and white, paris, love, roof parties, long walkings, trombone and armstrong trumpet (dare yo haven't guess)

Now i'm listening to: I got it bad (and that ain't good)
from The Great Summit Album.  they say Armstrong and Ellington stay in the same hotel in paris while the movie-shooting of this. then they decided to record the great summit . highly recommended.

sleepless

I find myself with so much time nowadays. The past six months had been ridiculous stressing since i had to study (finishing communication in the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru) and work  at the same time. Now that I'm on college vacations my spare time has increased and I'm a little scared of turning unproductive.
That's why today I started playing with photoshop and this is the result (not the least one I hope)

ps. Originally it was a photo of myself in a swimming pool,  then i put a layer of a nebulosa and added on top of my left hand a lovely mythological deer of caitlin hackett (her work is stunning) on my right arm i have an aromatic lemon tree of lord frederick leighton
the feathers are from the poster of black swan. i can't wait to see that movie. does anyone know if i can get it at polvos azules?
